May self-portrait.

I don’t like for other people to take my picture. But I really like to take self-portraits. In fact, I take quite a few.

I am less comfortable with sharing my self-portraits with other people, in the same way that I can be very reserved in sharing things about myself with other people. It’s a silly fear thing. The Shy part of Camera/Shy.

I’m a little tired of feeling that way, though. So I’ll be posting one self-portrait each month. May’s portrait was taken in the downstairs bathroom at No Name New House. Surprisingly good light filters in through that window.

    This sounds like a good project.

    It’s funny about the blog stuff, but there are a few things I’m very guarded about. It’s not like I don’t speak of them, i.e. religion, I just never say well what’s on my mind.
