It’s the last full day here at the Cemestos Gardens. We had a good, productive day yesterday. Today will be a lot of odds-and-ends moving…the things we forgot to pack, or needed up until the last moment.

I’m trying to be chipper, because I don’t want the last moments here to be clouded by a bad mood. But it’s hard. I’m worn out, quick to snap at the kids, anxious about today’s workload. I think I’m just going to have to snap out of it, don’t you?

Today’s picture, Justin’s irises, has a long story behind it. Someday soon I will tell the story, but for now I have to get to work.
